The iXM-RS280 comprises two 90 mm lenses and two CMOS image sensors with pixel size of 3.76 µ shifted outward according to the optical axis of the lenses. Each lens is vertically-oriented, providing nadir images with an equal ground resolution. Each image sensor captures an opposite side from the flight line, meaning that the right sensor captures the left side, and the left sensor captures the right side. There is an overlapping area between the images for stitching. The image sensors are installed with their long side along the flight line. Each sensor provides an image of 10,652 pixel across the flight line, and 14,204 pixel image along the flight line. The two stitched images form a large frame with 20,150 pixels across the flight line and 14,118 pixels along the flight providing 280 MPimage. The total FOV across flight line is 45.7 deg and FOV along flight line is 32.9 deg
